Andrew Tischler

 Andrew Tischler was born in Austin, Texas in 1983.  He now lives and works from his home in Perth.  After completeing a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Fine Art) at Curtin University, Andrew has taken part in group exhibitions and three successful solo exhibitions and is rapidly establishing himself as one of Western Australia's foremost landscape and marine artists. 

Andrew says "My work is concerned with the natural environment.  I am interested in light, colour, visual harmony and depth.  I strive to create a convincing sense of reality, exploring the dynamics of nature.  I find the process of creating this reality, with nothing more than pigment, linseed oil and linen, intriguing.  I believe that all good art should speak for itself and convey a clear message."
